Pet store Cages

Pet store cages are highly not recommended because they are way too small! This is the size of an average guinea pig cage:

After you put in its hiding place, water bottle, hay rake, and a food dish, there will be almost no more room for the guinea pig. This is how you would feel if if you had to live in that cage. You go inside (the size of a washroom) then you go outside, and you are stuck on your porch. There is just NOT enough space for your guinea pig! If you must get a pet store cage, do not get a cage with wired bottoms, aquariums, or any exposed wood cages! Wired cages can cause bumble feet for your guinea pigs, causing your guinea pig a lot of pain.

Most pet store cages rip you off, any decent sized cages are well over $100 dollars. If you want to get a big cage to keep your guinea pigs happy, go for a C&C cage. They will cost a fraction of a pet store cage, and they will give plenty of room for your piggys!
